Sauber Cascade Kitchen Mixer Tap Chrome

Firstly, I paid for the DHL next-day service and the tap arrived at 09:00 the next morning - Excellent service. Secondly, I had read many of the reviews on here about the quality of the tap, but still wasn't too sure. I was wrong. Not too sure how this tap is sold at the price it is, but trust me, it is well made, solid, and finely finished - I have no qualms with it at all. I spent much more time removing the old tap than I did installing this new Sauber one which only took about 45 minutes from start to finish. (To be fair, it did help having the tools for the job - especially for tightening the nuts that hold the tap body in place). Notes: The 'pull out' refers to removing the tap from its cradle arm - This is not a tap that has extra hose length. I saw that another reviewer had commented that the flexible hose connectors were too short - In my case, they were slightly too long and a gentle bending had to be introduced, so it does depend on your under-sink fixed plumbing structure. All-in-all, I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. I installed the tap 2 days ago and it's working fine without any leaks... I don't usually write reviews, but felt compelled to do so after installing this beauty. Does it look good? Yes, looks very classy Does it function well? Yes, nice to have the flexible spray option and the pot-filling tap! Was it easy to install? Yes, two people ideally, one to hold the tap in place as it is heavy. Was the price good? Yes, really, really good. Maybe better than taps twice the price? I realise this is coming across as a gushing review, but to be honest, when I read some of the current reviews before buying it, I thought, 'It can't be that good, for this price, surely?'....but I didn't need to worry, really, really happy with the item and how quickly it was delivered. If I had to have a gripe, it would be that the flexible pipes provided weren't long enough - I had to re-use the ones I had from the old tap - but that's not the fault of the manufacturers I don't think. Time will tell, of course how well it will last - I own a B&B so this will get plenty of use in the months to come.

If anyone can be in love with a sink, it's this! It's a lifestyle change to washing up. You do need a lovely large acrylic sink to take this revolution to perfection. Picture a roast: Run the tap to fill the separate bowl with that part completely to the side. Cutlery etc. The spout is angled in. The with the hose, you have full space to hold plates up at approx 90° ish to rinse leftover gravy off without it going into the bowl. Those sorted and into the DW. Can hold pans high but still fill with soapy water. You get the idea. The children haven't worked out that they can have some real fun. The benefits of never teaching them to wash up. So big meals are dealt with swiftly. Big sink helps as can have roast dish soaking underneath washing up bowl and still have rinsing down plug but this is also where you need high hose. Basics too, no manoeuvring the kettle down to standard tap height. I think you get the picture

Bought this to replace a standard mixer tap in the kitchen. Quality is good and it comes with everything you need to install. Installation was ok, the only negative I would say is that the two retaining undersink bolts are both on one side rather than having one on each side but as long as your sink top is level you should be ok. I also put some clear silicone under the tap for water tightness. The main difference with this tap is you have a central on/off/hot/cold tap and then you have the pot filler and the pot cleaner both with their own on/off taps. Having used it now for over 4 weeks the only issue has been the pot filler tap which comes looser and slides off far too easily. Of course this can be fixed but I would not expect the tap to remove so easily.

Initial thoughts are that it is of good quality and the spray attachment has proved to be very useful already. I fitted it in a utility room over a previously used Belfast sink. It is mounted through a 20mm thick marble slab supported by an additional 18mm thick piece of hardwood underneath. The fixings are standard for mixer taps and it seems to be pretty solid, because there is potential a lot of leverage on such a tall tap it may not be good for young children that may pull hard on the spray section. I'm not a plumber but found it pretty easy to fit. Time will tell whether there will be any issues with the tap but after a few weeks I'm very happy with the purchase.

Great value compared to other taps of this style, good quality and easy to use. The only issue was that this was the second tap as the courier damaged the first one (broke the spray) and just put it in a plastic bag. Used the website automated system to get the replacement - without any issues.

I had a tap similar to this when they first came out years ago, when fitting the new kitchen j decided on something plain, I then was looking on the website and I saw it on offer What a statement piece, looks amazing, took a bit to work out.. but I am really happy, finished the sink off

Absolutely wonderful. The quality and design is amazing. Honestly you would expect to pay a lot more money for this. The spray part of the tap washes fruit and vegetables so quickly. You definitely wouldn't be disappointed. We will always get what we need in the future from plumbworld.

Very pleased with this tap. It arrived quickly and was fitted by a qualified plumber with no apparent problems (although I think the flexible connectors with too short and this had to be rectified). It looks great, has a solid feel to it and a powerful aerated jet.

Although the first tap was faulty, I can't fault the way these guys handled the problem. Sent me a replacement once i answered a few questions regarding the issue with the tap & received it the following day. 10 out of 10.

We previously had one the same that last 6 years before a leak appeared so decided to justvreplace it with a new one. This tap is as stated is very universal in use and also looks good as part of the kitchen furnishings.

Search for hours online for this style of tap at a price that represented good value. The price 79.99 was really good and the quality as good as any taps twice the price. Not fitted yet but not expecting any issues.

Not normally one to review items unless they are exceptional and this one certainly is. A great looking product at a great price and very functional. Had to wait until it was in stock but well worth it. Buy it!!

This was delivered quickly. Ease to install and is great to use. You can control the water flow with the main tap or the shorter tap. I like that the two taps are isolated for use no accidental water spraying.

Really impressed with our new pull out kitchen tap. Arrived on time and very reasonable price. Friends have commented have smart it looks, ‘it must have been expensive’, and I am not going to argue!

Overall very happy, works well and relatively easy to fit. It is a bit busy in terms of so many valves to turn depending upon where you want the water, but very good for blasting dirty pots clean.

Her indoors is still raving about this tap - it's just what she wanted for swirling around our large double sink. It's even stopped her from raving about the new shower cubicle for a while.

Stylish looking tap which was easy for a novice DIY-er to fit. Love the 'champagne effect" of the water coming out. Matched with the sauber prima inset sink and looks great.

A really good product but it was too big for my small sink It was returned and I revived my refund with in a few days. The customer care was very helpful and professional.

Easy to fit and use came with standard tap tails. The pan filler is great to use and you can use the pre-wash At the same time. Made our dated sink look stylish.

The tap looks great but can’t really comment on performance as we’re yet to get it installed. The fact that it has two different outlets makes a lot of sense to me.

A solidly built mixer tap which appears to be well constructed. All the parts necessary to fit the tap were supplied, and fitting was straightforward. The downside is that the small bore on the flexitails means that hot water pressure from the tap is very poor on our gravity fed system. It would probably be fine on a pressurised hot water system. Cold water flow is fine as it is from the mains supply. However, I discovered that when the tap was on mix, mains cold water was feeding into the hot water system so I had to add a check valve to prevent that, which further degraded the hot water flow. I may add a pump to boost the hot water pressure.

Tap arrived and I loved it. a small piece keep coming off, I contacted to say, A gentleman named Jacob got back in touch, he was very prompt, helpful and professional, sorting problems straight away, went above and beyond.. 10 out 10 Big, Big thank you...

New tap was fitted without any problems and works well. Found that the water tap length a little short, so mainly use the spray nozzle for filling the kettle. Has been in use for 4weeks now with no major concerns.

I have a sink with a 1 and a 1/2 bowls Thought I’d checked the dimension but obviously not close enough The main outlet unfortunately does not fully reach the large bowl My mistake but the product is very good

Bought to replace standard kitchen tap. Installation was relatively straightforward however there is a little flex due to the size of the unit. Works great, looks great, would buy again

Tap a little awkward to use but fairly good quality

After install the tap was ok for a while. Then drip drip drip. Meaning that we stopped using the spray attachement and used just the tap. Then today, the hose popped off the tap assembly!! Water water everywhere. Totally useless. Turned water off and went to Screwfix and bought standard mixer tap to replace this abomination. Be aware that looks are not everything. Functionality is very important and something you do not get with this tap combination.

Beautiful tap, love the colour, slick and streamline. Exactly as described. Lovely water flow. Nice and tall spout and lovely solid smooth feel of the lever. It's only just been installed so here's hoping I'm as happy with it in 5 years time.
