I research this product online and also made a few calls to double check prices, availability and box contents - good job I did as I was going for an SS3 originally until I found out it didn't come with hoses (they were an extra £64.99) but the SS5 had them included, so a higher spec product for less money overall.
Joanne at plumbworld was super helpful, very efficient and knew her stuff, she also made sure the item arrived in time to get the job done. Very happy with the whole experience, especially as Plumbworld were the cheapest by far.

DIY install in kitchen plinth, had everything I needed apart from a plug. Fairly quiet on the low setting, not really noticeable. Not really had a needed for full power, noise levels would be noticeable then. Still quieter than an oven.
Only downside with the installation, I raised the unit off the floor. It isn’t overly clear best practice to support the unit underneath. It will need something.
Best part is that is automatically comes on when hot water runs through it, no need for a thermostat to trigger it on.

Have now removed the kitchen radiator and replaced it with a space saver.
This has allowed us to move the fridge freezer into the corner of the kitchen in the old rad space. Giving additional storage by way of a new base unit where the fridge freezer was fitted the space saver sits underneath this. Allowed us to install longer worktops and give the whole kitchen new spacious look. The heat is dispersed around the room much better than the radiator used to provide.
Really pleased.

The plinth heater arrived quickly and was well packaged. It was easy to install, according to the plumber, and runs well. It kicks out a good level of heat when the heating is on. The fan turns on and off automatically and there is a booster fan if needed. It’s not that noisy, less than the fan on the oven. Very happy with it.

I bought this to install in my new kitchen since I no longer have a radiator. Easy to install & works great. Haven't yet tried it in the depths of winter but I suspect it will be much better than the old radiator. The cold fan feature is very useful. The delivery and service from Plumbworld was quick and easy. Thanks
