1 Product Question Ask a question +
How do I get the grill off to clean behind it?
Switch everything off – Make sure the central heating system is off and the heater is cool to the touch.
Locate the fixing method – On the brushed steel grille models, the front grille is usually held in place by spring clips at the top and/or bottom, or by two small screws hidden along the bottom edge.
If it’s clips: gently pull the bottom edge of the grille forward; it should release from the spring clips, then lift it upward to unhook from the top.
If it’s screws: check along the underside lip of the grille (sometimes tucked under the cabinet). Remove the screws, then tilt the grille forward and lift it away.
Clean carefully – Once the grille is off, you can vacuum behind it or wipe with a soft cloth. Avoid pushing debris into the fan/coil area.
Reattach – Hook the top back in first, then push the bottom until the clips engage, or replace the screws if it’s the screwed version.
Customer Reviews
A neat heating solution.
We already had an older one of these in our kitchen, and when we re-fitted it, our carpenter suggested removing a radiator to give us room for another cabinet. However it's a large kitchen/diner/family room and it would have left us with just one small radiator for heating. Adding another one of these was the perfect solution, we got two and replaced the older one so they match. On the lower fan setting they are quieter than the fridge so very unobtrusive.
Plinth Heater
Ordered this product during lockdown but still arrived within a few days which was great service. Price was the lowest I could find on the Internet. Can’t fault the product, good quality heater, works great and the brush chrome finish goes well with most kitchens . Instructions are easy to follow if you not familiar with the installation. I also powerflush the heating system before installation .
Fantastic service
Excellent service, company tried deliver but couldn’t find house, Plumbworld sorted this straight away and got the delivery to me the following morning first thing. Will definitely return for future plumbing needs
Kitchen radiator replacement
Received promptly. Had a new kitchen and the plinth heater allowed us to replace the radiator to provide significant extra storage. Gives out plenty of heat and fits in perfectly. Delighted with our chouce
Excellent product
Just recently installed as part of a new kitchen. Heat output is excellent and warms a large kitchen area very quickly. Would definitely use again.
Space saver heater
Great way to heat a kitchen and no ugly radiators to get in the way
Neat little heater
A little noisier than the heater it replaced but unlike that one this reliably turns the fan on and off when the central heating warms up. Easy enough to install, just two pipes and a wire to connect up and looks neat under the cupboard with the stainless steel front.
Good to do business with
Very helpful from the start kept me informed about delivery, have not used yet waiting for plumber. Rholtom
