Plinth Heater
Have just installed a new kitchen. We have been using under floor electric heating as no room for a radiator. Decided electric under floor heating although ugh fantastic is becoming expensive to run. Have installed this Smiths heater connected to the central heating system and it is fanbloodytastic! The fan operates when the water is being pumped and turns off when it is not. Wish we have put one of these in sooner! Would highly recommend them. They take up no space and are very efficient in pumping out the heat.
So Impressed
This Plinth heater was suggested by Kitchen Fitter as no space for existing radiator. Bit Dubious at first but now installed WOW! only need low setting and large kitchen feels benefit straight away. Looking forward to Summer as this also blows cool air. So Glad ordered through Plumbworld at fitters recommendation as from reading Description to arriving on doorstep whole process pain free unlike some other companies Well Done.
Good value and service
We ordered it online and it arrived faster than expected. Next day I think. My husband has fitted it (no problems with fitting) and we’ve tried the fan. It’s not too loud in a quiet room but noticeable. However in normal use in the kitchen (where ours is) it will not be intrusive I don’t think. Efficiency wise, we won’t know until the heating comes on (hopefully not for months yet!)
Great heater, low noise with high output
Brought this to replace an aging one that was 15 yrs old. Much quieter as the bearings in the fan must of being going in the old one, so the new one is just background noise now. Also seem to be more efficient at getting the heat out. If you already have gas CH, this is a no brainer with low running cost over the central heating that is already running.
Good effective unit.
This one is to replace an existing one that has worked well for the last 8 years. Went for the same one as I found it to be very effective, and quiet in operation. Think the last one was struggling as it got pulled out numerous times due to other works in the kitchen.
Cosy warm feet at the kitchen sink!
This was a replacement. When the old one finally stopped working, after about 20 years, it was sorely missed. So glad to have my replacement and warm feet again.
Good kit and a easy fit
Fitted this on a extension that the customer had forgotten to leave wall space for radiators. Very impressed with the product generally quiet and looks good too
Cannot Fault
Faultless experience, delivered sooner than expected and cheapest price anywhere. Will definitely be a returning customer.
