If you need more heat but have little wall space, pick a taller vertical model or a double/triple panel version to increase output without a big width. A narrow 280mm-wide vertical at 1800mm tall gives more warmth than a short, wide single panel of the same width.

What is the difference between single, double and triple panel radiators and which should I get?

Horizontal radiators work well under windows or along long runs of wall and tend to sit lower for traditional layouts. Use a tall 1800mm vertical radiator in a narrow hallway, and choose a 600mm-high horizontal unit under a kitchen window to keep splash zones clear.
