How do I work out whether you need angled, corner or straight radiator valves?

Look at where your pipework meets the radiator. Use angled valves when your radiator has a side inlet and the pipe comes up from the floor, or when a bottom-inlet radiator has pipework coming out of the wall. Corner valves suit a side inlet with pipework coming from the wall or bottom-inlet radiators with pipework running along the wall. Straight valves are for side inlets where pipework runs along the wall or for bottom inlets with pipework coming from the floor.

Should you buy thermostatic, manual or smart radiator valves for your room?
