Aqualisa Midas 110 Thermostatic Dual Head Bar Mixer Shower - Chrome MD110SC

I have installed this today. The fixing kit is fantastic. The shower that I have recieved does not have a variable height bracket - the bracket joins together the riser and the overhead pipe and therefore is in a fixed location, This was not an issue for me but I think it is worth knowing for people who are using it as a replacement. Perhaps call plumbworld first. First impressions - it has good power and even temperature (combi boiler at about 2 bar). So impressed just waiting for hub to come home from Golf and I will order another one to replace the bathroom shower. Regarding holes that cannot be covered - my solution is waterproof filler and a daughter who has so many nail varnished that I found the perfect cover up. Delivery was fantastic but we do have an amazing Yodel delivery guy in our area. N.B. Twas a Woman who fitted the shower in this household today :D.

I had another famous brand fitted. That lasted 6 months before dripping and a replacement had to obtained. That replacement lasted a further 18 months. Enough was enough. I researched and looked at reviews. A plumber friend said that I should try an Aqualisa. This was ordered online and arrived in quick time. The difference is unbelievable. Ease of use and effectiveness. I can now actually control the heat and the force of water. We required two shower heads as the other half prefers to wash and rinse her hair. Both the over head shower and the hand held are very good quality.

The Aqualisa Midas 110 shower is perfect and offers real value for money. It was really easy to install and is so stylish. The shower is connected to a combi boiler and works a treat. Excellent shower - has made a huge difference to the water pressure which has been just great. Plumber installed without an issue. Top bar fixings were in a different location to our previous Aqualisa - so bear this in mind. Really pleased with it

Having recently had a new combi boiler installed, I had a new shower installed. The Midas with drencher head was easy to install, looks good and has excellent flow with easy to use controls.

Extremely pleased with this product. Both fixed and adjustable fixed head work brilliantly with our shower pump. Easy to use and control. Looks exactly as shown in picture.

I have had this shower installed for just over a month and so far no complaints. It fitted onto my old shower pipework (I did have a Triton thermostatic mixer shower there before) making it easy to fit, but it does come with an easy fit system for your pipework, if that is not the case. Great shower head and quite large too, so almost like being under a drencher head, without the hassle and expense of buying and fitting one. I would recommend this shower.

I bought this shower a month ago, and it’s the best thing EVER. Looks elegant, works like a dream, and I have instant hot water, at the temperature I want, and good pressure! It's the simple things like the non-twist hose connection, height adjustment and just good final finish that justify buying this over cheaper alternatives. As a user of Aqualisa for many years I know it will last. Complete with everything needed for detailed installation.

Excellent quality brand product and excellent price. Only when fitted I realised there was no soap dish on the riser bar. Entirely my fault but worth pointing out to potential buyers. After many years with an electric Mira Sport this is Paradise!.

Bought the midas bar mixer with the easy fit bracket, which made the job a lot easier as our shower is on a stud wall, therefore the existing stud batons(?) where perfect position for fixing bracket, then after tiling went on a treat

Purchasing the Midas 100 gave me no surprises as to its quality and performance as it was replacing another Aqualisa shower which had given 10 years or more of faultless service

A bit early to review the shower as it hasn't been fitted yet, however it looks and feels decent quality, and a good buying experience on plumbworld, nice and straightforward.

The shower is excellent quality and the performance is superb.Plumbworld also offered the best price. It’s nice to have a shower with actual metal fittings as well.

I bought this to replace an earlier model, about ten years old. It took only a few minutes to fit and gives a noticeably better shower. I am very pleased.

Received in good order, once familiar with item fitted to existing pipework with no problems. Shower now gives adequate waterflow and no leaks. Perfect.

Purchased as part of a bathroom refurb. Ordered the shower with the fitting kit, but the fitting kit wasnt suitable for fitting to a dry-lined block wall without having to chisel out block-work. But the shower itself is very nice and built very well. Fitted the Mira wall mounted brackets a treat. Shame the water pressure in my house is poor ! A pump is needed next time I reckon :O)

Everything arrived quickly and seems to be in order. Our plumber said the shower looks good and it had good reviews so we're hoping it works well and lasts a long time. We have yet to install it but I will try to update this review once it's in and (hopefully) working!
