Aqualisa Midas 220 Bar Mixer Shower Matt Black - MD220S.MB

My shower needed replacing due to a leak on the wedenesday! I rang several Plumbers merchants including Aqualisa Their replacement price offered by them was exhorbitant To say the least ! I rang Plumbers World spoke to a gentleman who answered the phone I told him my problem and what I needed and after a discussion when he explained everything about the shower I agreed to purchase ! The deal was done there and then The shower arrived on Friday afternoon and my plumber fitted it that same evening . So impressed with the service I am 82 years of age and disabled with arthritis so for me it was amazing to get such brilliant service Thank you so very much.

Plumbworld pricing always wins with price and the after sales service is excellent should there be a problem. This particular shower, I have installed on a number of occasions. The build quality is excellent the flow rate is one of the highest for this type of bar shower and finally, by registering the shower unit with Aqualisa you get a 5 year warranty. You really can't go wrong.

I had recently purchased this shower as I was installing a combi boiler and my electric shower was no longer compatible. I have not been disappointed with this showers performance in the slightest! It has a great pressure and it looks really sleek and stylish on the wall. My only negative would be thepole the shower head connects to is shorter than many other showers. However clever positioning of this on the wall means that this is not an issue.

Arrived quickly and fitted on to existing pipework easily. My old mixer was also aqualisa, so felt it would keep things simple to opt for similar again. Feels a good quality with the metal body, whereas many others are just plastic which feels flimsy. Powerful shower head with a range of pressures to choose from. I like the grip on the slider rail. Feels easier to move than the traditional type.

Really pleased with my new shower. Good pressure from both the fixed drencher head and adjustable head. Delivers an easily adjustable constant water temperature for an enjoyable shower experience. The only small negative is the plastic hose retainer (not shown in this picture) looks cheep and flimsy.

This has been fitted in our en-suite and the beat feature is that all pipes are cool to touch. I’m happy for my boys to use without the risk of burns from pipes and boss. Paired this with a Stewart Turner 2 bar pump and it runs really well. Expensive, but you get what you pay for!

Really pleased arrived on time well packaged had a mira for years and years still working well when I took it out. If this is half as good will be happy. The drencher is great and it certainly looks and feels quality would recommend.

I am really rating the “experience” with plumbworld so far. The shower we just purchased looks really good (due to be fitted shortly) and we have every confidence that it will look great in our new wet room. The shower seems very good quality and deliver was prompt. But beware, nowhere on the website nor the instructions does it mention the height of the column. It's rather tall. Apparently it's not really designed for over a bath. I'll either have to send back or get the plumber to reposition.

Have been a fan of Aqualisa for many years , I picked this unit for its build quality and metal rather than plastic components . I will probably use the hand held shower more than the drench but it's good to have both options .

I managed to order the Low Pressure one instead of the High Pressure one and Plumbworld were brilliant at allowing me to swap them over very quickly.
