The Optic Q Smart Controller is specifically designed for Aqualisa Optic Q digital showers, so it will work with those models only. If you already have an Optic Q shower or are buying one, the remote pairs with that system to give you extra convenience. It is not a universal controller for other Aqualisa ranges or third‑party digital showers.

The remote operates wirelessly up to around 10 metres from the shower, so you can keep it well outside the wet area and remain dry while you pre‑heat the water. Good spots are on a hallway wall, by the bathroom door, or on a shelf just outside a wet room. Keep it within the 10‑metre range and avoid dense walls if you want the most reliable signal.
