My old basin mixer tap had died a death, 30 years of daily use had really taken it's toll. This Dakota mixer tap is fabulous. It was very easy to fit, it is a chunky, quality tap with smooth swivel tap action. The waterfall flow is brilliant & the flow rate is perfect. The purchase was smooth, an easy to navigate website & excellent communications. I was kept informed at every stage from the initial purchase to packing, dispatching & delivery. I bought the new tap to replace one of similar design that could not be cured from leaking. I wish I'd taken the trouble to replace it sooner. The unit was easy to fit ( I have the right size box spanner) and works like dream. It is much better quality than he old one and mixes hot and cold more effectively. Would recommend it without reservation.

Purchased to replace a faulty tap of a similar design. Although slightly smaller it provides a very smooth action and a flow rate significantly better than the old tap. The design is smart, well finished in chrome and supplied with flexible tails for connecting the water supply. Overall great value for a quality product.

Matches the shower mixer tap easy to install and very easy to use my grandchildren can use it by themselves without adult supervision and easily adjust how hot or cold you want the water temperature to be I would thoroughly recommend this product

This tap really compliments the Amelia cloakroom set we purchased from Plumbworld and it is amazing to watch the water cascade out of the tap. My wife loves it so much that she wants us to replace all our taps in the house with these ones.

Works well, good flow rate, no problems so far.

Its ok, but dribbles out as we dont have high enough pressure to the taps. And it lands on the plug hole surround, splashing water all over the floor. Other than that its a cool tap and would be better if I had more pressure

Good looking tap for the price. But beware water sits in the well of the tap so will have to see what damage it does over time. Ordered and was delivered the next day.

The tap arrived well package. Looks good. I was not informed it was out of stock at the time of purchase so it was delivered later than expected.

Everyone these days goes for this type of tap, but to be honest, although ugh it looks good, it is not that practical, and a bit fiddly to clean.

Having had this tap in our bathroom for a couple of years we are about to replace with another of a different design of the same brand in the hope of resolving one key flaw. At a low flow water flows back underneath the spout and down the tap onto the basin edge. It’s virtually impossible to avoid this happening frequently when turning tap on or off. Because we have a modern flat square sink this water then sat around the edges of our sink and eventually flowed down the sides onto the sink unit & attached toilet unit which ended up being ruined through water damage. It was difficult to see the water under our bathroom lighting and took us some time to realise the problem. Luckily we were able to get replacement units for free but if this next tap isn’t right it will be going straight back! It’s a shame because the general quality and style of this tap is good.
