Ceramica Round Wooden Toilet Seat - Bottom Fix (Oak Effect)

I have ordered this seat through Plumbworlds ebay shop on the 30th of September after being recommended by the quality and reviews on the main website itself. It arrived today and it is actually real oak, I had it for £38 on ebay, they must have a deal on at the moment as of this review, it is usually £50/£60 so can be expensive but reasonably priced considering the wood and other places they go for around £100 onwards, however I restore retro bathrooms especially coloured ones so not all the toilets have seats and always looking for suitable replacements and this was the place to come. The seat looks great, early days yet regarding how long it will last but considering it's proper oak it should last. Hinges seem good quality as well, nice heavy classic looking seat however they will look even better on an old art deco toilet from the 70s and prior. If you want a proper well made top quality good seat this is it right here, also they do a pine seat as well so check it out. I ordered another oak seat as of this review and I am happy with how it looks on my retro red toilet.

I’ve been looking for a solid oak loo seat to replace the one I’ve had for 15 years and not been able to find one until now and at a very good price considering it is solid wood. It arrived well packed after a few days. It took all but 10 minutes to readjust the fittings so seat stays up ( never up in my house) and it fits just great. It appears to be solid and very well made and is warm and comfortable. I’ll be back as now want to replace various taps. I ended up speaking to Jack who helped solve an issue. Thanks for a great service.

We're really pleased with this toilet seat, it's extremely well made and at a very reasonable price. So much better quality than some of the similar items that we looked at and much cheaper. Why any-one would go for a plastic seat when a product like this is available I can't understand. We were so impressed by this company we bought another replacemnet seat for our down stairs loo

I was really happy with every aspect of my purchase - the toilet seat is solid and sturdy and it's lovely to have real wood rather than MDF and I think it's really good value. It was easy to fit and although ugh it's only a toilet seat, my downstairs loo now looks so much nicer.

Only slight problem with the star washers not gripping on hinge , remedy gorilla glue as loctite not available, still mother-in-law happy as it is not a pic frame! Bum Bum!(Come back Les Dawson) Sorry , again thank you for a speedy service.

Really good oak product at a much cheaper price than any other company I researched and provided with very easy to install instructions. Efficient and speedy service by Plumbworld and will certainly be recommending to family and friends.

Ordering and delivery couldn’t have been easier or better. Was ever so slightly disappointed with the colour, as I hadn’t expected it to be quite so ‘orangey’, but that’s just photos and screens- no fault at all but mine! Having said that, the seats were easy enough to install, with good instructions and the finish is very good- they look and feel like they will last a very long time. Many thanks

Bought this seat in the mistaken view that it was Oak, it is not but is solid wood and so far really impressed with it bought two. Decent thickness of lid and seat doesn't feel at all flimsy. Easy enough to install but do read the instructions as there is a degree of adjustment available that is not necessarily immediately obvious. Wife very happy! :-)

Pleased with this product. Solid wood, good hinges, easy to fit. I would have given a 5 if the grain of mine was as good as the image - but no complaint really .

Good quality toilet seat. However is very light in colour for oak, closer to pine in appearance in my opinion.

Wood is good quality. Looks good. Ultimate test will be whether hinges and bolts corrode , and if so, when.

Bought two and arrived and installed ok. However disappointed now to see that the plating on the fixings is flaking away after only 2 months on both toilets.

The seat was out of stock on back order so took a couple of weeks to arrive, but Plumbworld did keep me updated with the delivery date. Seat it's self is fairly light due to being pine but it is solid wood, the fittings supplied are good with conical washers that keeps the screws centered and keeps the seat tight to the pan. I would use Plumbworld again

The design of this loo seat doesn't appear available on high street or in diy stores. We were getting concerned we would be sitting on cold porcelain as the one on the loo when we bought house was broken. This fits perfectly with various positioning options. Delivered on time, pleasant person on the phone, good quality. I rate it excellent!

Decided to replace the MDF toilet seats with something of better quality. Found these real wood seats at a great price so ordered two! Items arrived promptly and well packed. After removing old seats, the new ones were fitted and adjusted in under 10 minutes. Very impressed overall with the quality and price.

Traditional rich antique pine colour and very shiny. Easy to install and looks great. Very lightweight. We always choose wooden style as it's comfortable to use and not cold like plastic. Good value for money and would buy from Plumbworld again. Quick delivery.

A first class product, if I compare it to the previous one I bought from Harbour, it is chalk and cheese a rolls Royce compared to a 10 year old Standard 10. Fitted really well and the finish top class.

Colour a bit brighter than shows on my laptop so was a bit 'whooa!' but actually fits well with my (anti dystopian grey) sunshine bathroom theme. Feels solid and sturdy, my only issue is the connection method is a bit fiddely having a separate bolt you have to screw in for alignment, not sure if it's tight enough, but so far so good.

The toilet seat was bought to replace an old one that had broken. Not quite as good quality as the original but acceptable. The first one to arrive was scratched on the lid. However, Plumbworld's exchange service was both excellent and extremely fast.

After returning two other seats from another company we bought this one. It did have a mark on the seat but at that point we were so fed up with poor quality we have kept it. Nice colour and easy to fit, no glue etc
