my shower was sucking in air,and giving me troubles.
the salamander s flange was advised.
i fitted this,pretty straight forward job.just had to tweek outlet pipe up a inch or two,a bit of ptfe tape and all went back ok.
this is a good bit of kit,and did what it was designed to do.also in creased flow.maybe because no are was getting in to shower.
i would recommend this to anyone with air problems.
i also got this delivered quickly after ordering on line.A1 service from shower pumps. will be using them again,for sure.

If you have issues with poor flow/air in your pumped,indirect cylinder/tank fed,shower then this item is the solution for you. This will resolve the common error where the hot feed/draw pipe(to shower pump)has been wrongly tee’d into the top of the cylinder/expansion pipe outlet. Fitting the Sflange will prevent the draw of air (from expansion pipe) in situations where you have a minimal amount of hight(head) on your tank fed system. This item resolved my issue.thanks.

Haven't tried other makes but this does the job perfectly. I was fortunate with the orientation of the pump outlet once it was tightened up, but I suppose an improved design idea would be to be able to rotate the outlet to the desired angle, banjo bolt style ...or shimming would be a cheaper option I guess. Cheapest price I could find was here on Plumbworld. Turned up fast and well packaged.
