Soft-close lid

Thermoset plastic seat
Plastic toilet seats have long been the standard in bathrooms and cloakrooms, and this seat, in particular, is finished in a classic white. The polypropylene thermoset used to make this toilet seat is rigid, durable, easy to clean and scratch-resistant, so you can rest assured you're choosing a quality seat for your bathroom.
Anti-bacterial surface
During construction, the thermoset plastic is impregnated with a special anti-bacterial treatment. This high-tech process can help to keep your family healthy and to protect them from potentially harmful bacteria. The treatment offers protection against Salmonella, Listeria, MRSA and even E-Coli. In addition, it reduces staining and odour build-up.
Non-slip flexi-fit installation
The double hinge system of the Eyre plastic toilet seat allows even greater adjustability than the Flexi-Fix™ system on other Croydex seats. That means, that no matter what size of toilet you have, this seat will fit it perfectly. The system allows up to 14.5-cm of variation in the hole positions so you can be sure that you can get a perfect alignment. Furthermore, with the special non-slip pads this seat will never get loose after prolonged use, or slip and slide when seating. Comes with all fittings.
Quick release top fix
This toilet seat benefits from a top fixing making it super quick and easy to fit. The ‘Quick Release’ design also allows for thorough cleaning, as you can simply lift the whole toilet seat off the toilet bowl to wipe underneath which ensures a deep clean of your toilet.

Made from scratch resistant thermoset plastic with a fresh white finish, this contemporary D-shaped seat features patented high strength, adjustable hinges. Compatible with any standard UK toilet pan, there’s no need to worry about the seat not fitting.
Installation is extremely easy. Simply remove the protective film, position the self-adhesive hinges and tighten into place. Polished hinge covers clip into place for a stylish finish.
Quick release hinges, that allow the seat to be fully removed, and an anti-bacterial treatment make it easy to maintain a clean seat. Additionally, soft close hinges stop the seat from slamming closed, eliminating unwanted noise and reducing the chance of damage.

I was slightly anxious about fitting this, because some reviews said fitting was problematic. But actually I had no problems and the instructions are pretty clear, though I can see that if you don't follow them carefully you could end up with the sticky pads in the wrong place and impossible to move. The seat looks good, fits well, and feels strong, though it's only been on a few weeks and time will tell how it lasts. Good price from Plumb world, and prompt delivery when promised.

I didn't quite realise how uncomfortable the last seat was until I installed this! Bought to replace a very ill fitting ‘bog’ standard seat in a new build house that moved every time it was sat upon, not great! So this was a pretty perfect fit on a Twyford loo, the fitting itself was brilliant, those adjustable fixings were a godsend to get the perfect fit and look and I’m very happy with the result. Am now thinking of getting more to replace the other rubbish seats in the house!
