The grinder cleans itself after each operation using the water-air mix present, which is both natural and environmentally friendly. A special tank floor design ensures solids are guided swiftly and easily towards the pump. This removes the problem of sedimentation build up in the tank corners and the resulting odour problems that this can cause.

Excellent pump
Actually my review is for the company Plumbworld, I have found them to be a very good company to deal with, I've purchased several items over the past few years and never had any complaints towards them, they deal with any issues you may have with integrity and good customer service.....Now, getting back to the pump, this is an great pump and in my estimation better than similar more expensive pumps, it is quiet and efficient, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this pump.

Pumps well & is quiet
Pump works as described and is very quiet when in operation. It was easy to install. You'll need to cut the access plug off the end of the inlet, but you have a choice of which inlet to use - depending on your pipework. This overview states a slightly higher max water temperature (50° instead of 40°) so hopefully there'll be no problems.
Great little pump
Does exactly what you expect, value for money on a branded product, don’t waste time buying then replacing cheap imports as they are not made equal.

seems to be working OK
Bought this to replace a Phlexiflow system which used to overheat and cut out - unfortunately kids carried on using the shower and our kitchen ceiling is now a mess. The Sololift runs in isolation and has higher temperature and flow characteristics. Installation manual is a bit short on words. The picture showing using a hacksaw to open the inlet port worried me but the helpful lady at Grundfos said it was OK. I've tested it with a shower and emptying several full buckets of water into it and it doesn't complain.
