Are Mira Mode digital showers compatible with combi or high-pressure systems, and what does HP/Combi mean for you?

HP/Combi means the Mira Mode models shown are designed to work with high mains pressure supplies and combi boilers, so you won’t normally need an additional pump. If you already have a combi boiler or good mains pressure, an HP/Combi unit will deliver strong flow and stable temperatures. If your home has low, gravity-fed pressure, Mira also offer pumped versions of Mode to give you the same invigorating performance.

What's the practical difference between a ceiling-fed and a wall-fed Mode shower, and which is easier to retrofit?

Ceiling‑fed showers take pipework through the ceiling and suit layouts where supply can come from above; they work with one or two heads for a true overhead experience. Wall‑fed showers use pipework through the wall behind the unit and are specifically noted as easier to retrofit, because your existing wall pipes often line up with the valve position. if your current supply comes up through the floor or a stud wall, a wall‑fed Mode unit will usually save you time and disruption.

How do I decide between a single, dual or three-outlet Mode shower for my bathroom?

A single outlet gives you one shower head or handset and is compact, good for small en‑suites or where you want a simple handset. Dual outlets pair a fixed (or ceiling) head with a handset, letting you run them independently or sometimes at the same time for a powerful mix; that’s ideal for a family bathroom with varied users. Three outlets add a third function such as body jets or a bath filler, which is useful if you want a multi‑function wetroom or a shower‑over‑bath installation with a dedicated filler.

What benefits do thermostatic digital controls and remote operation give you in everyday use?

Thermostatic digital control keeps your water at a precise temperature, so you avoid sudden hot or cold surges and can set safe levels for children. The smart digital and remote features let you heat the shower to your preferred temperature before you step in, so you don’t wait for water to warm up. you can set the shower to 38°C and activate it remotely so it’s ready when you enter the bathroom.

Should you choose a rainfall head, a handset, or a configuration with a bath filler?

Rainfall heads give a broad, drenching overhead feel, perfect for a walk‑in shower or a luxurious parent bathroom, while a handset offers flexibility for rinsing, cleaning and bathing children or pets. If you have a shower‑over‑bath, a handset plus bath filler option is practical because you can fill the bath and also use the handheld for showering. Many Mira Mode kits combine a rainfall and handset so you get both a spa‑style overhead spray and a practical handheld for daily tasks.
