Excellent customer service
When I got the over bath shower panel it was dented on 4 sides. Tried phoning but due to current situation got answerphone. So emailed customer services and spoke to Samantha B who couldn’t have been more helpful. She emailed me back at 11.15 on Monday and wanted photos which I sent and I explained to her that I had family coming on Wednesday and needed this urgently. She then emailed me back stating that they would replace it urgently and could I dispose of old one which I did. Then Monday about 4.15 I received an email from their warehouse saying that the new one had been dispatched to carriers and I received the replacement the next day! Seen some reviews on here criticising their customer services but in respect of my issue I couldn’t fault them and would definitely recommend and buy from them again... well done customer services and Samantha B . Great shower screen
I was looking for a folding shower screen for my new shower over the bath. I had looked everywhere locally in the usual stores, but couldn’t find anything I liked or wasn’t very expensive. I found this one and was a bit hesitant because it was a low price. However I bought it and I have to say it’s really an excellent product. Even my plumber was pleased with how easy it was to fit and it looks amazing either open or folded. I am so pleased I took the time to look online. Delivery was super quick as well

This is a great product, good quality & looks very smart. The instructions could have been a bit clearer, perhaps some text as well as pictures? It was heavy, but we could both carry it independently; definitely needs two people to fit it. Once in position, a worthwhile project.

Great where space is restricted.
The box warns: 2 person lift required - (which you will ignore like everyone else). So yes, it’s a bit heavy to lug the box upstairs but it’s perfectly do-able to install it yourself. Work tidily and it’ll install logically, look good and work well.

Luxura 4panel Folding Bath Screen 992mm wide
Researched online for a folding shower screen to replace one that had broken after 20+ years of use. Plumbworld had the choice and I narrowed it down to two. Decided to go with the most popular and less expensive Luxura screen as the fitting process seemed similar to the screen I had removed. (Although my second choice the Corman screen was reduced in price the next day!!). I ordered the Luxura screen and it was delivered 25 hours later. Therefore, online ordering service and communication regarding delivery was excellent. With regard to the actual screen, I was surprised how good the quality is for the price paid. As others have stated the fitting instructions could be better although ugh fitting was easy enough (2-3 hours for DIYer) as it was very similar to the one I removed. Well worth having another person to hold the screen when attaching it to the wall bracket. Only given 4* as the rubber seal at the base of the shower does seem to be of poor quality (only my opinion and may be proved wrong after long term use) and the small plastic clips that fit it in place could easily pop out and be lost. Also, what is not shown on the main website picture is the separate solid chrome drip strip (shown as item 9 - instructions) that should be attached to the top of the bath. I have not fixed this yet as the shower screen seems to work fine with no evidence of leaks onto bathroom floor. Screen is taller than previous screen and therefore contains the spray within the bath. NB Website shows actual glass panels as being 216mm wide which is correct but when screen is folded it is approx. 245mm wide againstt back wall i.e., this distance includes width of seals between glass panels. Overall, for the price paid you would find it difficult to find a screen of similar quality.
Easy to install, but leaks
I fitted this yesterday and it was so easy to install and looks great. Its very sturdy and works well. My only issue is that it leaks at the bottom where the cogs are on the joins. The rubber seal leaves a small gap at the joints which water poured through it putting water down the bath panel. I fitted the drip bead onto the bath and what you need to do it not have the screen push againstt it but about 1cm in from that bead so the leak stays in the bathroom. This is not expected and i would say its a design fault with folding screens.

Very fast delivery and excellent updates with delivery times. Very easy to install, I did end up modifying slightly as I didn't want to use the drip strip that needed to be siliconed to the bath, so I've just used the seal and seems to works well now that it sits a little lower ( I cut off 5mm from the two end pieces that sit on the bath) appreciate this may void the warranty!
Just the job
Got this to replace my old screen and so glad I did. Easy to install and does the job very nicely. I don't think the stainless steel bath rail that comes with it is necessary though. This could be replaced with something more useful, such as an attachable shelf for instance. The instructions were not very clear and need to be written down as well as the pictures.
Damaged in box
1st delivery on unpacking found to contain a broken plastic hinge middle base of unit. Plumbworlds response to my phone call re this was superb. Replacement shower screen was dispatched immediately and received at 8am the next morning. Unit is solidly made but barely long enough to stop water spilling onto the floor.
Great screen, easy to mount.
The screen is mechanically sound and the following mechanism is effective. Not sure I likes the way the bottom seal looked at first but very effective. Glass is clear and general quality is high.

We love this however as the bath we bought has a slight incline on both ends the bottom doesnt connect with the bath in some places which means water escapes to the floor.

The instructions are not very concise with no real instructions on how to fit the drip bar and it is not shown in any of the pictures on the website? It looks like you fit the drip strip to the bath with silicon, not something I am keen to do on a brand new bath. So I don’t plan to fit this drip bar as another customer fitted the screen with out the drip and it appeared to work good with no leaks. Maybe the manufacturer can update us about the drip bar?
Hydrolux Folding Bath Shower Screen
We ordered this after looking at a number of similar items. On receipt I noticed that two small plastic lugs (part of the folding system) were broken. I contacted customer services and after explaining the problem and sending some photos (unasked for), I was immediately offered a new unit sent via next day delivery. Fold away shower screen
I bought this to replace the non fold up screen. It's bigger which is better it looks amazing and it folds up neatly revealing the whole bath tub. It's only used when we have family stopping as we have the ensuite shower. Very happy with the purchase.

Hydrolux Shower Screen
Very happy with the shower screen, looks great fitted as shown in photos, great value for money. If I have 1 issue it's with the rubber seal that runs in the channel at the bottom of screen, the grey plastic 2part stoppers keep popping out falling into bath. I have put a small spot of superglue to keep this in place at the end to prevent this from happening or potentially losing the pieces that is supposed to lock it in place. Otherwise 5 Star Product.

Delivery was good and the screen itself was relatively easy to fit once you had worked out the instructions. The instructions could have been clearer with more explanation and more detailed diagrams. A short video on the website would have been useful.
