Luxura Curved Hinged Bath Shower Screen 1000mm Brushed Brass - Two Panels, 6mm

This two-piece screen is such good value for money, I wish I needed another one. Free next day delivery, comprehensive packaging, curved top edge, safety glass all included in the price. Installation process was easy, although ugh care was needed when drilling holes for the self-tappers in the aluminium wall fixing. The pivoting panel swings out for easy access, and in for tidy storage, when not in use. The fixed panel acts as a spacer, so that when the pivoting panel is opened, the latter does not bang againstt the heated towel rail. The unit is attractive in place, with the curved edge lending a softer look than a square edge. Very pleased with purchase, and have added Plumbworld to my favourites.

Nice robust fixed panel short of 500mm wide and a further hinged panel approx the same. Got this for a tenanted property as the original set up was leaking through the vertical brush within the hinged area of the vertical channel. Landlord wanted a permanent solution to the water leaking through to the downstairs property so I suggested a fixed panel. Retaining bracket for the top of the fixed panel seemed nice and robust too. The width of the fixed panel may not suit everybody but was needed In this case as there was an adjacent concealed toilet cistern tight againstt the edge of the bath and the glass need to extend past this to prevent water being splashed onto the side of the cabinet.

very happy with this. replaced our perspex one when we were forced to have a water meter. the perspex always leaked and the seals went mouldy hence we rarely used it. this looks good. folds inwards and outwards so can still have a bath quite easily. we only have very limited space so this works well with our over the bath shower. good price. works well. i think instructions could be better but with a bit of common sense (and a wife who bothers to read them!) husband managed it by himself. make sure you buy a suckered mat to go in the bath.

I'm an installer, znd in past year have installed this type of bath/shower screen for many of my clients, and have referred them to Plumbworld. However, this time I thought I would do it for myself, and my family. Good screen, reasonable cost, good service, free delivery, and if installed correctly, will make your bathroom look definitely better. I'm one of the highest rated plumbers in South East London, and I dont write many reviews, but for this..... I'm a believer.

The two panels are similar weights so manageable. Easiest of a few screens I have installed over the years. Well designed packaging and delivered on the agreed date. Would happily buy again.

You won't regret buying this Bath Screen. Worth every penny as apposed to cheaper versions as it has a button hinge which lifts it off the bath edge. This means rubber seal is protected.

Builder said it was one of the easiest shower screens he had fitted.went together like a dream. Looks good and stylish. Folds in across bath when finished so no water collects on the edge.

Good and solid unit. Works well. With large glass panels looks uncluttered. Just the right amount of chrome to brighten the final look. Fitting instructions OK but could be clearer.

The bath shower door arrived on time. Packaging was excellent. Fixing instructions were good and managed to fit them in my own. Would recommend the doors and Plumbworld.

I ordered this when we wanted to install a shower in a bathroom that only had a bath, but our plumber fitted it. The first panel is fixed in place, to the wall and bath, with an additional strut at the top to the wall. The second panel swings to a right angle either inwards or outwards. This makes it better for having a bath, getting in/out the shower, or cleaning. The plumber had no negative comments about the installation, but did mention there may be a slight leak where the central stanchion sits on the bath. When I first used the shower, there was a very slight dribble at this point, but not enough to really wet the floor, and not enough to complain about. Sometimes there is no leak at all. If you require a decent length shower screen with the added benefit of the central fold, then this is a pretty good one.

Nice sturdy product. I would have liked to have seen an additional stabiliser bar at the bottom of the fixed screen part so that this screen would work better on a bath that didn't have a flat edge....not many baths do have this and we had to do a DIY extra to stop it slipping towards the bath. I know the product did say it was for flat edged baths, but adding this extra stabiliser would ensure it would work perfectly on sloping edges baths

Ordered this a while ago. Will be fitted soon, can't say what it's like as yet but kept been reminded to review it. So here we are. Box doesn't rattle when shook so we think its still in one piece. Here's hoping ah !

I have to say in all it is a good quality screen. It definitely worth the money. The delivery time is as estimated. But mine was delivered with a small flaw on the chrome frame. That is the reason I have a star off.

I cannot yet comment as to the longevity of this screen, but it is easy to fit and appears to be quite good quality. It certainly is good value for money. Plumbworld service was excellent as usual.

I would recommend this shower screen. It is good quality for the price. Would be better if the screen folded all way back to keep out the way completely when not in use
