If you have a tank-fed cold water system (rare) then this pumped electric shower is the one for you. Connecting to your cold water tank supply, this shower will give you a revitalising boost even at the lowest of pressures thanks to its in-built pump. This shower must not be connected to the mains cold water supply.
Important: This is a pumped electric shower for installation onto gravity fed cold water systems. It is not suitable for installation directly onto cold mains supplies.

10mm cable size
The right size cable depends on the kW rating of your shower. The higher the rating the greater the flow of heated water will be, so you need to be sure to choose the correct cable size for your shower. This particular shower recommends using a 10mm cable.

Great shower - easy installation
Bought this to replay a mixer mira shower - WOW what a difference - instant shower and good power too. I'm quite good at DIY and found this so EASY to install. I used 6mm cable which is fine BUT, don't bury the cable in insulation just a conduit. When installed I would recommend (if you know one) an electrician just to check/test. Yup - great piece of kit. NOTE: cables for all electrical stuff have been down-graded due to most houses been well insulated and hence the cables get buried in insulation and overheat- hence why 6 is not 10!! Would (depending on how this lasts) definitely buy another. Plus good deliver time from Plumbworld too. PS Ignore the diagram in the info YOU DON'T NEED A PUMP with this shower.

Quiet shower but lower pressure?
The Elite SE is listed as the direct replacement for the Sport Max ST, which I had 2 of and was very happy with. However, while the Elite SE is noticeably quieter, it would seem to be at the cost of flow rate/pressure. Overall I’m happy with the Elite SE, I like the easy access filter, but will look at other brands next time.
Good but not quite up to its previous model...
Works well but not quite the shower that we used to get from the elderly model. Needed to by the better shower head too, as only the basic one is provided and did not meet my high requirements haha...
