Mira Excel Thermostatic Exposed Mixer Shower - Chrome 1.1518.300

I chose the Mira excel EV mixer having bought one a few years ago at a previous house. I also purchased a Mira mini duo as was having two showers fitted. Both are great showers and perform equally well with very good water flow especially considering I don't have amazing water pressure at home. If you can afford to spend the extra on the excel you won't be disappointed. The excel is a seriously high quality piece of engineering, so solidly built and will last for years without issues. My plumber once described it as the "Rolls Royce of showers". In the unlikely event you do have issues there are plenty of replacement parts out there. There are of course much fancier looking showers with larger shower heads and features but this one just works so well! If on a tighter budget I can definitely recommend the mini duo.

I purchased a Mira Excel EV shower over 4 years ago to have in an en-suite, it's been great and has never faultered or even showed a sign of having a problem. It's possibly one of the best investments I've made as not only does it look stunning when fitted, but it's so easy to adjust the temperature and pressure... it's an all round brilliant product. I found myself using the Mira shower so much, I had to buy another for the bathroom - this was the cheapest price online, so I went for it. Delivery was very quick and I was kept informed at all points of the delivery process (really nice to know). The shower came well packaged with everything intact, as you'd expect. Fitted the next day by the plumber who said it was a breeze to fit, next day, I'm showering in it. Amazing.

I fitted this to replace an old Mira Excel Mixer during a new MIra Leap Shower enclosure installation. The old Mira unit was nearly 11 years old in a very hard water area and was still working OK but a bit worse for wear due to limescale damage over the years. Not a bad performance I'd say.. With a new water softener fitted it was time to replace it and the new Excel unit fitted in the same centre fixings (after some new pipework at the back of the shower !) Fed from a 2.0bar pump this shower is the best I've used and everyone who visits comments on how it is the most controllable shower they have come across. Fully recommend it and I found Plumbworld are the most competitive on price

I bought this to replace an electric shower and couldn`t be more pleased. I shopped around on the internet for a while and the price I paid was the cheapest on the market. Delivery was quick and the quality is excellent. An absolute breeze to fit and works perfectly, I don`t know why I didn`t fit one of these originally because it outperforms the electric shower in every way especially when a hot tap is turned on elsewhere in the house, the electric shower used to almost scald you where this shower maintains the temperature perfectly. If you need to replace a shower then this is the place to buy it from, value for money is outstanding.

I’ve just had the Mira Excel installed and, apart from the installers putting the controls on upside down (waiting for them to rectify that) this shower is great. The only slight disappointment I had was that the shower head is different from the illustrated one - it’s not the Eco shower head advertised or pictured on box, so different spray pattern and power. I’ve had the eco one before, with a Mira Fino shower so know how good they are. It’s a shame that Mira has stopped producing those. Wish I’d kept the old one, but didn’t expect to have to keep it as I thought new shower would have that in the box. Live and learn!

My customer was really happy with my choice of shower ( I am a builder ), this Shower has been fitted now over 15 months, it is fantastic my customer has said so. I originally thought was a bit expensive but you pay for Quality & Mira has not let me down since I’ve been installing them for the past 10 years. So overall my customer is very happy so am I.

A powerful shower which is what I wanted. Easy to install and easy to clean. I would've given the build quality full stars but after a couple of weeks the shower head started to drop down the rail. This is a common problem with a lot of showers apparently due to how heavy the shower heads are. We have had to use silicon to stop the head moving.

Great product, good quality build. Bought to replace 10 year old Mira system, purchased this model due to pipe gap been the same as old unit which really helps with fitting. A good solid product that works perfect and should last many years. Worth getting a friend or a good plumber to help with installing to make the whole process easier.

We bought two of these showers for our new build, haven't actually had them installed yet. My parents have had the same Excel shower for over 13 years. The slider bracket has been replaced but that's it. Well packaged and quick delivery up to Shetland. I will use plumbworld again in future and I've already recommended to others.

I have fitted and used a wide range of showers over the years, but this Mira Excel is the best ever. The quality is obvious as soon as you unbox it. In use it is simply fantastic. Smooth easy controls and excellent flow rate, I only need the flow turned half way. Excellent service from Plumbworld with great price and fast delivery.

This Mira is a great example of how a shower should be. Looks brilliant easy to install (so i'm told) and performs very well. It is very powerful and makes getting up in the morning almost enjoyable. The price is very good for a shower of this quality and it took just 3 days to arrive after i placed my order. All in all very happy!

Hi.I had had a mira shower for ten years with no problems,so had no hesitation in ordering another.This one is even better than the last as my deaf blind daughter can operate it with ease due to the on off lever being so easy for her to find.And the price was very good for such a high end product regards Mr. E. I had an earlier model installed in another house 12 years ago and it is still as reliable and powerful as it was when new. So the natural choice for my new home was the latest Mira Excel, which has absolutely surpassed my expectations. I'm also delighted that Mira hasn't changed the Excel's timeless, elegant design.

Very simple and intuitive valve. Good flow on full setting with further 3 options to reduce or change pattern. Previously had a Mira Event for 20 years in a hard water area and it was still going strong. Had this fitted with a Stuart Turner Eco Showermate 2 bar and it's much quieter. Easy to fit. Highly recommend.

I needed to replace my old Mira Excel (Circa 1996) and this one fitted the to the same fittings - although ugh new holes required for mounting the shower unit, soap dish and bar. Service from Plumbworld was excellent, delivered quickly and updates provided during shipping.

This is the second Mira Excel I have purchased and it has been given top marks by my wife and 4 daughters which is saying something. For them, a shower must meet high standards as it is used numerous times during the day and Mira fully rises to the challenge.

Recommended by plumber. Was iffy re price but what a delight to look at and use. The four settings mean you get whatever rate hits you. Mine gentle , hubby power. No more unhappy showers now. Am thoroughly loving my new shower and glad to get great advice.

This is the most amazing shower you could ever have. Both my wife and I love it!! Easy to control. Smooth transition through temperature range. More 'power' than a power shower! Amazing flow rate! And the cheapest price we could find online.

Contacted Mira customer services,they gave a quote of £90.00. for service call, full shower valve service including cartridge,now working as brand new!. 5* service. Expensive, but the best by a country mile.!.

The service from Plumbworld was excellent. The shower is to replace an old model which was very good. This hasn't been fitted yet so fingers crossed it will be as good if not better than the old one.

This shower is fabulous but as yet we’ve been unable to work out how to angle the shower head and keep it in position
