Mira Relate EV Thermostatic Bar Mixer Shower - Chrome 2.1878.001

I never thought I'd be leaving such an excited review about a shower but this really is fantastic. I mean I came from having a mediocre electric shower to this and it's just fantastic. The pressure is amazing and the temperature is perfect every time, even with our 25 year old boiler that has temperamental outbursts everywhere else. It also looks pretty snazzy. For the money I am very impressed. Only slight snag, but I imagine more to do with my house/boiler and/or plumbing, but the speed of output seems the same whether it's on a little bit or full blast but I very much enjoy the pressure so no problem for me.

I purchased this shower mixer as a replacement for one of the same make but was about 12 years old. Easy to install so wasn't long before it was tried out. What a difference compared to the old one. It was like having a power shower installed. I wish I had done this a lot sooner. Plumbworld delivery was quick and well packaged. Also a very good price. Satisfied customer.

Supplied promptly. Shower fitted easily and works very well. Although only been installed a month. Only suggestion it would be good if something was supplied to cover where this type bar mixer in place of a rotary mixer. Hence have to fill holes with mastic.

Bought this at a bargain price to replace a 27 year old Mira Shower. Everybody who uses the shower says how good it is. Easy to control and maintains a stable temperature. It is linked to an existing pump so gives a real good blast.

Due to low pressure,my original bar shower wasn’t any good , so I researched this mira shower and the pressure is brilliant, all I can say is this is a good shower , easy to install as well an the shower head is great too

We installed the shower in place of a low pressure shower when we had a combi-boiler installed. The new shower is exactly what we needed and are pleased to say it is working fine.

Lovely shower, good quality and easy to install (by qualified plumber) the only negative is that the actual shower head is a one setting, I thought it had adjustable spray, but it's the height pole that adjusts, so now need to buy separate adjustable spray head.

Mira relate is the same as the Atom only with a 90mm beat head instead of the 111mm so same great Mira quality and reliability.

We replaced our electric shower with this product conected to cold water mains and hot water feed from combi gas boiler. Our bathroom fitter said it was straightforward to install and it works exactly as advertised. Firstly it should be noted we are in a Low Preasure Water area and both the rainfall head and other smaller head provide excellent water preasure. We love the way you easily switch between each head and the valve turns the one head off immediatly so no dripping. The temprature selection is easy to use and we can adjust between preferences. The most important element is the mixer. Here it manages to keep the water at a constant temprature even when the toilet is flushed or someone uses a tap downstairs; yes there is a drop in pressure (both the shower continues to provide an adequate flow) however the temprature remains constant. The finish is also very good, it looks more expensive than it is and it is very easy to keep clean. We also like the fact the rainfall head extends out horizontally further than most other brands or Mira models which means you do not need to stand close to bath taps. Only minor comment is the shower does drip slightly for a minute or so after being turned off (from whichever was the last selected head). This is really not an issue and we find it stops pretty quickly unlike showers I have had in the past. We give this shower 10/10 on all fronts...especially price from this supplier.

I've just switched from an electric shower to this which runs off a 30kw combi and the difference is ridiculously good...so much heat and pressure, it was well worth the investment (boiler was also new at time of install). The rainfall head is bigger and has less pressure than the smaller head, as you would expect, but it is great for that 'immersed' feeling. The small head packs a punch of pressure-great for my wife who suffers with shoulder problems. It was easy to adjust the temperature limiter to give us maximum temperature after the plumber had gone. Speaking of the plumber, he was so impressed by this shower that he asked where I got it from and how much because he wants one in his house! I should also say how well it was packaged and the fact I could choose my delivery date was a bonus. I would definitely recommend this shower and plumbworld to anyone.

Our Darryl shower finally started to leak recently and needed replacing. Although I could not find a similar tower to replace it, having successfully fitted a Mira shower for my Sister in Law about 12 years ago (which is still functioning extremely well), I decided to look at Mira Thermostatic Mixer showers. Having to fit it into and existing tiled shower cubicle with no easy rear access for the pipework, made preparation for the pipework and fitting the shower much more difficult than the first system I had installed. That said it is now compete and working and is excellent. Another superb product from Mira.

This is a truest wonderful shower combination. The waterfall is like being on the beach in Bali when your eyes are closed. Lovely way to wake up in the mornings. The shower head is really powerful and massages the stress right out of you too. Useful for spraying the bath area one your finished too. Best Buy I’ve made in a long time. Prompt delivery and great price too.

Very pleased with product quality and ease of fitting. Wanted the shorter pipe for the installation and contacted customer service to purchase. Was told was out of stock so tried local suppliers and internet. Unable to source pipe elsewhere so went back to customer service who were now able to supply and did so free of charged.

As you would expect from Mira excellent quality and the £30 cash back is a bonus. You have to wait 30 days to claim it but they will remind you if you visit the website. We have used Plumbworld previously and always find them very competitive, good customer service and fast delivery.

The Mira Relate looked better than I thought it would and is an excellent strong shower. Yes, it does drip a bit from the rainhead after using for a very short while but that doesn't bother me. For the price it is great!

Looked at these in the shop, and found a better deal here at Plumb World. No hassle with the installation, and now we can enjoy a lovely shower again. Thermostat works great and we love the big shower head at the top.

It's quite hard to buy a shower online. I wanted one with two heads but was unsure about the 'bar' models as ones I'd used in the past were really hard to adjust. I just bought on spec from a brand I recognised. However, I am really pleased with this. I got my plumber to install it and it is very easy to use and looks great. So I am pleased and I would recommend but I dock one start as, as others have commented, it's very annoying the way it keeps dripping / running after being turned off. The shower it replaced didn't leak a drop once turned off but this does and it's quite annoying. If you switch to the hand held head and use it on lower parts of the body, you get drips from the fixed one on your head. OK, definitely a first-world problem but irritating none the less. I also like to completely dry the shower area with a window vac to reduce moisture in the house, but with this having water running out for several minutes after it's turned off, makes this difficult. It's a shame it has this design flaw as otherwise it would be perfect and warrant five stars.

Great shower, responsive, good pressure, instant etc. However beware that unlike most of these mixer showers, the drencher head is not adjustable up or down so if you have tall and short people in your house they either have rainfall from the clouds or have to duck under it! I think you can get extender pieces, but they cost extra.

Perfect shower, looks brilliant in position and very easy to install. Quality product as you would expect from Mira. Went and spent a bit extra on Mira surface mounted elbows and glad i did! Brilliant service from Plumb Word, ordering was quick and easy and delivery was a day earlier than it should have been.

After much research I came across this. A good brand with a rainfall shower for a low price. Value for money is great but don’t expect a premium product. The cheapest feeling part is the hand shower which is an easy upgrade in the future.

It'll be a while before we fit it. However, it looks good, feels good and seems to be exactly what was written "on the tin" The delivery service was excellent.

This shower was very straightforward to install and works exactly to specification. Time will tell if can maintain this high standard.
