Eek! My Mira Event power shower suddenly went Kaput (not what a single lady needs), and the plumber blithely said on the phone, Oh,just buy another and Ill be round in a week to fit it. So first I went into a local plumbers merchants - where I felt distinctly out of place and they quoted me an astronomical price. Next, onto the internet I went, still barely even knowing how to spell the word MIRA. But I need not have worried! The Plumbworld website was just what was needed. I found the Vigour, a much cheaper but virtually identical model for almost a third of the price quoted locally for the Event, and thanks to all the info in the website was able to order it easily and confidently! The product literally arrived the next day, in solid packaging, and Bingo, the plumber fitted it in the time it took to drink a cup of tea, and without having to move anything or leave holes in the tiling, and normal service was resumed. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the shower. And also I commend the excellent service from Plumbworld - what stands out is that you dont need to be a hardened DIY-handyman to find what you need, and you get good service regardless of who you are or what youre buying, which is great. Pats on the back all round.

Having had a Mira Event (model T) for some time, when that finally died I had concerns about replacing it - mainly as the pipework comes down through the bathroom ceiling. Checking with other suppliers didn't help me any, but a quick check on the Web produced this supplier. Not only was I able to check out the manual on line (and see the very minor fitting differences) but I was also able to confirm that this replacement shower unit could take pipework coming down from above. As to the unit itself? Apart from the more attractive, cosmetic changes to the case, and the need to re-drill two of the mounting points to match up with the new motor support chassis, it was a simple and easy replacement. On the up-side. The unit is more quiet and less bulky in some respects. On the down side. The new shower head has a wider fitting, and different holder bar. Easily solved by keeping the old head (etc) All in all, a perfect replacement at a killer price

Having had to replace an aging Mira shower, as this old shower gave us excellent service lasting 20 years, The Mira shower website was searched to find an excellent replacement, it did not take long to find a replacement model which ticked all the boxes for both my wife & myself due to both our mobility health issues a shower is an important kit to have in our bathroom, Having had our new Mira shower assy fitted & been using it nearly every morning now for three weeks, the various spray patterns from the shower head we find brings much relief to our aching bodies, this Vigour power shower is off excellent quality & comes highly recommended again ticking all the boxes, this shower assy I found to be easily fitted by a competent DIY householder as it comes with a great set off fitting instructions again easily read, I myself was able to fit this shower unit in under 2 hrs, looking forward to having a lovely massaging shower for many years to come.

Thoroughly chuffed with this power shower. I thought our old Triton was good, but this thing is a bad boy. The head provides a really big spread of water at a hefty flow rate, so not one for hippies, but makes for a fantastic shower! Temperature controls are very good and easy to adjust beyond factory settings. Fairly quiet operation too. I'd say it looks better in situ than in photos as well (why do power showers all look so boring?)Good instructions and a pretty easy DIY install. Personally I thought the soapdish looked a bit cheap and vulnerable so I left it off. Most importantly, overall, its just amazing value for money at this price. Even other certain large DIY providers online are charging double this price! It should be noted for DIY plumbers...the cold supply is on the right, and you need vertical input piping, so it might mean some replumbing if you're replacing an existing shower. I wouldnt even hesitate in getting another.

After placing my order online, i literally blinked and my new shower was here, well done Plumbworld, excellent speedy service ! Taking it out the box revealed a lovely new shiney unit which is replacing my moisy tired shower force after 9 years of service. Couldnt wait to get it fitted so off to the van and out came the tools. Fitting was a breeze, electrical and plumbing connections all easily accesable, a slight plumbing change so the new unit covered the holes left in the tiles from the old unit and hey presto......I was listening to a lovely quite shower at last ! First of all Plumbworld: I ordered the shower on the Internet on Sunday afternoon, and it was delivered on Monday morning! I couldnt believe it. Next the shower: I have another Mira thermostatic shower, a standard mains pressure 9.5kw, which is excellent. This was a low pressure H-C power shower in another bathroom. I had to reverse the hot and cold feed relative to the old shower (another brand), but that was quite easy. Apart from that fitting and commissioning completely straightfoward and simple. Works excellently, maintains rock steady temperature in safe range, very quiet compared with old kit - nice to see the thought Mira put into this with rubber wall mountings to insulate vibration etc. All in all, plumworlds price was very competitive, delivery like lightening, follow up excellent, and the shower a brilliant piece of kit. All highly recommended.

I can't believe what a difference a little research makes. Visited the 2 most well-known DIY retailers, desperately looking for a power shower when the plumbers were half way through upgrading the bathroom and discovered I needed one NOW! The very same item was £120 more expensive at both retailers, even though one of the stores was claiming it was 'ON SALE'. I had no idea about plumbworld but found it on a google search. Clicked to buy as soon as I discovered the product I was looking for was available for delivery and so much cheaper (even when delivery costs were calculated). And it even arrived on a saturday. I will always look here first from now on. The chance to save such a large amount on basic plumbing supplies is an offer too good to ignore. Very pleased.

Motor went in our existing Mira shower after 10+ years. I looked at getting a new motor but it was £70 + postage. I was trying to find a similar shower to our existing one so we didn't need to get any of the pipework moved when came across this shower from Plumbworld. Price was excellent & delivered very quickly. Fitting very straightforward & did slot into our existing pipework. Only problem was we needed the shower on full heat to make it usable, so had to get the factory setting amended by the plumber. Not certain if this was unique to this model or Mira, but it is fine now. Nice shower which is relatively quiet & produces a good spray from the shower head - I woudn't hesitate in recommending this shower & the price / service received from Plumbworld.

I was a little nervous going for a like-for-like replacement shower unit. My old Mira shower had been very noisy and quite temperamental before finally failing completely after 7 years of use. It was easy to find Mira Vigour showers but not all of them were the thermostatic version. Plumworld stocked both and were also the most competitive on price. I was happy to place an order with them. The shower unit arrived promptly and was easy to fit for a fairly average DIYer like myself. What really pleased me is that the new unit is almost silent in use. A real plus and still makes me smile when I go for a shower. I wish I'd replaced the old one sooner. I hope this one gives me many years of good, reliable service but only time will tell. I had used an old Mira event power shower for 9 years and was very stisfied with it so when the pump on it died I decide a Mira shower was what I wanted.I searched the web as well as plumber supplies locally and could not find this shower at a better price anywhere. I e-mailed plumbworld to check that it would fit on the same pipe centres as my old shower and they confirmed it would. This shower was deliveerd within 3 days and fit straight onto the old pipes (as promised). Once fitted and wired up the shower was suprisingly powerfull and the device was unbelievably quiet. Bank holiday weekend! Cleaning the bathroom accidently turn the shower on. You can imagine my surprise. I quickly turn the dial but nothing happens it wouldnt stop showering me. My husband a plumber came to the rescue. We spent ages looking around different DIY stores. They were all so expensive. I came across your website and couldnt believe my eyes. Early days,but a fine powerful and easy to operate shower. Temperature range from cold right through to a controlled hot is smooth with no noticable reduction in flow rate. My only suggestion to Mira is that the little tool used to seperate the manifold from the inlet pipes is made of something more sturdier thn plastic-perhaps steel,as removing a defective shower can prove to be stressful with such a flimsy tool Otherwise very satisfied

We have had the Mira Event XS for many years when it finally stopped working. Originally we were going to get a direct replacement but on looking around found the Mira Vigour which was considerably cheaper. We are extremely pleased with the Vigour it is as good as the Event and in our opinion looks better as it only has one control. It is efficient as the Event for less money and according to my husband who hates plumbing easy to install !!

I have the Vigour power shower installed above the bath next to an electric shower. The electric one is adequate in the summer, when I do not have a tankful of hot water for the power shower and the mains water is not too cold to be heated quickly enough for a good flow. The Mira power shower is ideal for the winter, when the house heating provides ready hot water, and the pump gives a generous flow (especially for washing the dogs quickly).

Originally ordered a triton shower but pluming on wrong side and one of the brackets was broken. I contacted Plumbworld who said send it back for full refund - the refund was done as soon as they received the shower back - no fuss what so ever. So I decided to order the Mira Vigour - fits perfectly and so much cheaper than anywhere else - thought there must be a catch but no, everything is working well - really pleased!!

Excellent quality, gives a good shower.I don't have the family complaining they are having to chase the water around to find it !! Easy to set up to desired heat and use just have to remember to turn the inner ring anti clockwise to turn off not the outer one -that gives you a COLD shower shock burrrrrrrrr Would recommend to anyone wanting a no-frills well priced shower unit that delivers . 10/10

We have had 2 mira showers in the past and this model was much cheaper and seems much better so far. The control is really simple, with just an inner and outer ring to control flow and temperature. there are, i think, 7 different settings for the shower head, but most seem the same. Even with the flow control relatively low to save on water and power, you can still get a very efficient shower.

The Mira Thermostatic Vigour shower makes such a difference. Before I had a single control shower which meant each time you turned it off you had cold water both shutting down and turning on. With the Vigour once it is at the temperature set it is easy to turn on and off without that cold shock, also with the power, the spray patterns are just right. An excellent product, easy to install.

Only just installed my new shower, as a diyer every thing has to be simple, installing this shower certainly was, instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Purchased this shower to replace old mixer shower which was installed by the builder when house bought new 14 years ago.That was a Mira also. Wife recently complained old shower ran cold when any toilet in the house was flushed! Arrived well packed and accurate instructions meant it was fitted with no drama.Looks neat and works well.Well pleased with item and especially the supplier.A very minor gripe would be the fiddly plastic blanking off pieces supplied for top/bottom pipes which ended up being glued in place as the locating tags werent up to much.All in all a very good buy.

The shower head gives a really good spread of water with several variations. I looked at the event but opted for the vigor because of the price and I am glad I did. After searching the web for a power shower which was value for money selected the mira vigour from world plumbworld. Checked several dealers but with clear details of vat and delivery costs this came as one of the cheapest for a good power shower. Purchased this shower to replace a Mira Go Power Shower that I inherited in my house when I moved in which recently broke. The Vigour was a direct replacement so no pipework changes required. It is quieter than the previoius Mira Go, just as powerful and runs better. It looks smart with clean lines. Very happy with my purchase.

Fitted as a replacement for a previous Mira shower of similar design. It give an excellent flow of water even at low power and good variation from the adjustable shower head. The only criticism so far is that when you adjust the temperature it runs cold initially but within seconds adjusts. A good buy.

Did not know anything about your company till found you on the internet. Ordered shower and came on time as promised even with the xmas parcel rush. Track and trace was spot on. Shower was exactly what was advertised and cheapest i could find. Saved over £50 v local supplier. Will use again when need arises.

Next day delivery. This is an excellent product, which I would expect from Mira. Fitting was straightforward, and my tenant is delighted. Unlike the shower which this replaced, the motor is ABOVE the wet section. The previous product had a mixer leak which rusted out the motor below. Good design, Mira.

In my opinion this is the best value thermostatic shower on the market. Mira also sell one called the mira event XS which is overrated and overpriced compared to this one. Theres not much difference in them but about £200 price difference My advice do your researxh and you will see this is great value for money

Have used this model for the last two changes. Simple to use and would always go for the Thermostat version for safety. I find they last 2-3 years but we use it daily 5 times as a family and 365 days per year so I think it is a robust system. Price is good when you buy during the regular sale events.

Bought this as a replacement for an aged Mira Thermostatic shower - pump expired after only 14 years! - this new one is so much better. Very pleased with the shower. It delivers the force of water you need to have an energising experience and the temperature and power controls are easy to use. The shower head can be easily positioned on the rail to give the correct height for all the family. It looks good and is easy to keep clean.

Almost exactly replaces an old Mira Event. Plumber had no trouble fitting it onto the same pipework, kept the original mounting brackets and rod that supports the shower head after a useful comment from another reviewer. Family pleased to have an easy to use functioning shower again

Living in a rural location with low water pressure, we have to use a power shower. This was to replace an older Mira model and is working well. The older one is 12 years old and was getting a bit noisy so having a new shower cubicle fitted was the best time to have a new shower.

Mira thermostatic power shower used as a replacement for Newteam 201. Whilst it needed pipe work to be re set to vertical rather than horizontal format. It WAS WORTH IT Superb controllable performance giving infinitely variable pump speed at CONSTANT temperature 5 STARS.

This replaced a New Team 3000T power shower. I was able to use the same pipework and by adding a mains power feed the job was completed within a day. The shower delivers a very good flow rate and the temperature remains constant. Excellent product.

The mira power shower is well made and I found it simple to install and operate. It is very good value for money and the service from Plumbworld was excellent. I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for bathroom equipment.

Good looking piece of kit.Works like a dream and the factory set temperature is ideal,- all one has to do is turn it on and off-it's as simple as that. Very easy to install for the average handyman. Excellent handset.Mira does it again.

I am very impressed with the ahowers I bought. They replaced other Mira showers and they are far better. Very good value for money and quick and easy to install. When I telephoned Plumbworld for advice they were knowledgeable and helpful.

This shower looks good especially for the price. Once installed you can appreciate the good looks, performance and value for money. Bottom line it does what it says on the tin and it doesnt break the bank and thats a rarity nowadays.

Bought as replacement for existing Vigour shower which had broken down (over 4 years old)so knew the product and how good the quality is. Have a MIRA electric shower in other bathroom which is now 17 years old and still going strong.

An excellent Power Shower which I bought to replace an elderly and failing Mira Essentials shower. The pipe entry was identical which made life easy. The new shower is excellent with speed control too! Good value from Plumbworld.

Purchased 2 of these to replace Mira extreme which had given 10 years of good service. Much cheaper than I had expected and just as good as the old (discontinued) extreme. Highly recommended as is Plumbworld who sold them to me.

This product was for a direct replacement. The fittings and connections on the shower matched the original pipework, so the fitting was made easy. Even if the installation was from scratch, the instructions were easy to follow.

This power shower is fab, it comes a close second to my sky+ as best inventions ever!! This maybe too much info, but i have suffered psoriasis for 10 years, within 2 weeks of using this shower it is all but cleared! Love it!!!

I needed a shower to replace an existing Mira shower that had broken. Found this one whilst comparing others for the same fittings. Very easy to fit to existing plumbing, nice power, well designed better than budget shower.

Lovely shower- good pressure and easy install. Had to find out how to turn heat up by removing cover as was too chilly at hottest temp but wonderful now. Would recommend for those looking for a good prices but decent shower.

We bought this power shower as a replacement for a Pegler power shower which we had for 17 years until it stopped working. Whilst the Mira shower doesnt do anything wrong we have found that it is more noisy than the Pegler.

This Mira Vigour replaced an old Mira Event which had provided great showers for years, and only with one part replaced. The Vigour is as good as the old event with an even better shower head. Another satisfied customer.

Great product. Easy to fit with plenty of room for connections. Water pressure was low but the unit still provided an excellent shower. Needs to be on a solid wall or well insulated stud due to pump noise.(unavoidable)

this shower unit was a relacement for a more expensive power shower (which cost £280) and is by far the best one out of the two and at nearly half the price with some great safety features . very pleased with it.

Installed today. It compliments the bathroom well; looks stylish and modern. The large shower head is great and the flow of water lovely with the adjustable head. The adjustable height is great for children.

good quality,quiet running shower on slow speed.previous triton shower only seemed to run at fast speed even when turned down,consequently only lasted about two and a half years.hope this one lasts longer.

This product doesn't work after you fed it with cold water at mains pressure. My mistake but a good product anyhow. Can't add any cons cos I didn't get to try it!!

this shower is well worth the money very powerfull fitted within 2 hours .the fittings on this shower meant I only had to replace 1 ceramic wall tile.
