What's the practical difference between low profile and raised trays, and which should I pick for an accessible bathroom?

Low profile trays (many are around 30 mm high) give a near-floor finish that reduces the trip risk and suits accessible or wet-room style bathrooms, while raised trays (heights up to around 140 mm) provide extra underside room for waste traps and retrofits. If you need level access for a wheelchair or minimal step for older family members, a 30 mm low profile tray is usually best. Choose a raised tray when your existing plumbing needs extra depth or you're replacing an older, higher tray.

How do the materials compare, acrylic, acrylic-capped ABS and acrylic-capped stone resin?

Acrylic trays are lightweight, warm to the touch and easy to clean but can scratch more easily; acrylic-capped ABS adds impact resistance and rigidity.
