Unlike stone resin shower trays, our collection of Podium trays are incredibly lightweight, meaning one person can easily and safely lift and install these shower trays.
Built-In Anti-Slip Technology
Tested using the UK Gold Standard, HSE approved, BS 7976:2 Pendulum Slip Test, these Podium Trays achieve a score of 71, more than double the required standard of 35. This is down to the built-in textured surface. It's not sprayed on and won't need replacing, just cleaning, like an ordinary tray.
Cut To Fit
Podium shower trays can be easily cut to a shape which means a Podium tray can be installed in locations that simply couldn’t be done before! Please note, while it is possible to cut an acrylic capped tray, a cut edge can potentially be exposed to water ingress.

If you’ve got a hard floor like concrete, you can still fit the shower enclosure that you want, you just need to use an easy plumb riser kit with this tray. Our easy plumb riser kits will give you a massive 95mm of additional height, giving you plenty of space to fit a high-flow waste. You’ll receive a set of legs to support the underside of your tray and side panels that hide the fixings, keeping everything neat and tidy.
Please note: an easy plumb riser kit is not included with this tray and must be purchased separately.

So far appears to be a good shower tray and I think the anti slip feature is worth the extra money. I did replace the waste with a Mcalpine fitting (with their flexible hose) it is much better quality and easier fitting and may save a lot of grief long term. The only pain in my opinion with these trays is that the wide waste is raised and you have to avoid standing or tripping on it which is a pain. My choice if I chose again would be the higher sided type of tray with flush waste even though they don't look as good.
