Unlike stone resin shower trays, our collection of Podium trays are incredibly lightweight, meaning one person can easily and safely lift and install these shower trays.
Built-In Anti-Slip Technology
Tested using the UK Gold Standard, HSE approved, BS 7976:2 Pendulum Slip Test, these Podium Trays achieve a score of 71, more than double the required standard of 35. This is down to the built-in textured surface. It's not sprayed on and won't need replacing, just cleaning, like an ordinary tray.
Cut To Fit
Podium shower trays can be easily cut to a shape which means a Podium tray can be installed in locations that simply couldn’t be done before! Please note, while it is possible to cut an acrylic capped tray, a cut edge can potentially be exposed to water ingress.

Great product, and great service
I needed this shower tray urgently as the one I’d ordered elsewhere (second choice as this was originally out of stock) wasn’t slip resistant, and so ordered on a next day delivery with just 50 minutes to spare. The bathroom re-fit was in full flow and Plumbworld managed to get the tray to us the next morning by 7.30am - amazing! The tray is lightweight, absolutely non-slip and was very easy to fit apparently. Can’t really ask for more from the product or the supplier - and certainly wouldn’t go elsewhere after this. The fact that they use a reputable courier (DHL) helps too.

So easy and light to place down.
At first I was worried about getting the right glue to stick it down.. In the end I just used stix-all and clear silicone for the wall edges..plenty of it. Left for 24 hours weighted down. Absolutely solid. Placed on 1/2 inch constructional ply which in turn was on the 22mm floorboards. Floor tiles covered the open edge as these were on 6mm hardiebacker. Certainly can be laid by 1 person
