Podium Square Shower Trays

For an easy to install and aesthetically pleasing solution to your showering needs you need to get one of our square Podium shower trays. They’re far lighter than a standard stone resin shower tray but have just as much strength so getting them installed is far easier than you think. You can even cut and trim them to fit around odd shapes in your bathroom! The shower trays are available in either a low profile or an easy plumb format depending on the type of installation that you need. Low profile trays are great if you can fit your waste and plumbing beneath the floor and easy plumb is when you can’t, supplying you legs and panels to conveniently raise the tray for added room. How do I decide between a low profile tray and a raised (easy plumb) tray?

If you can route the waste and plumbing beneath your finished floor, a low profile tray (about 45mm high) gives the neatest, near-floor look and a lower step-in. If you cannot run pipework under the floor, choose the raised easy plumb tray (around 140mm high) which comes with legs and panels to lift the tray and leave room for the waste. a concrete-slab bathroom often suits a raised tray, whereas a suspended timber floor with access below can usually take a low profile tray.

What sizes do the Podium square trays come in and which size should I pick?

Podium square trays are available in 700, 760, 800, 900 and 1000mm square sizes. A 700–760mm tray works well in small cloakrooms or tight en-suites, 800–900mm is the common choice for a family bathroom, and 1000mm gives a more spacious showering area if you have the room. Match the tray size to the enclosure you plan to buy so the glass lines up with the tray edges.

Can these trays be cut or trimmed to fit an awkward layout?
