Description
Switch operated
These extractor fans are operated using the light switch for your bathroom. A simple flick of the switch and excess humidity from a shower or long bath can be extracted until you turn the light back off. For extended extractor you may want to consider one with a timer or humidistat.
Recessed Design
Recessed fans can be installed through a wall, window or alternatively the ceiling giving you that extra bit of flexibility.
Axial
Axial type fans cause gas to flow through in an axial direction which is parallel to the shaft where the blades rotate, making the flow axial at exit and entry. Axial fans are designed to create a pressure difference and force which produces a flow through the fan.
IPX4 Rating
This product has a rating of IPX4 which means it is protected from water splashes from any angle.
Zone 1 Rated
IP rating stands for 'Ingress Protection rating' and this helps us determine what bathroom electricals can go in particular bathroom zones. An IP (Ingress Protection) number or code is used here in the UK to specify the environmental protection of enclosures around electronic equipment. These ratings are determined by specific tests.

Use in a Cloakroom or Bathroom
This type of fan is suitable for use in a cloakroom and a bathroom to give you an excellent flow rate.
Extractor fans are designed to remove unwanted odours and excess moisture. This in turn reduces mould growth and keeps your bathroom fresh.

Simple & quiet
Bought this fan to replace a broken Manrose one (which was noisy too). This was simple to fit and came complete with all the parts needed. Only grumble is that fitting the cover on was a bit awkward, as I had to turn the fan slightly to line up with the location in the wall opening of the wire for the previous fan. It runs really quietly too.

Shed Fan
Purchased 2 fans to reduce humidity in shed housing 2 freezers. Fitted a fan at each end. Needed to fit board to wall of shed to ensure the fan body was clear of shed end. Good instructions for first time user. Easy to fit and to provide power. 2 speed setting useful and humidity has dropped. Supplying fitting kit was a bonus.

Nice looking product, have not been installed yet. It’s £10 cheaper than in other places (the same model). Safely arrived, although ugh delivery took longer, but it was not urgent. Very good communication. Thanks

Sensor controlled extractor
Decent fan. Seemed best price for a fan with a sensor and to avoid having to reword a bathroom. Has worked well so far, really quiet , and you can adjust the time it will run.
