What's the difference between freestanding vanities, wall-hung basins, pedestals and countertop basins?

Which finish or colour should I pick to match a traditional bathroom style?

I want a double basin, what should I know before buying a double vanity unit?

Double vanities included in our range here are around 1540mm wide and come complete with two basins and shelving, so you need a clear wall width of roughly 1.54 metres and room for taps either side. They give both of you separate sink space and much more storage, ideal for family bathrooms or en suites used by couples. Also note the choice of handles affects the final look.

What tap hole configurations are available and which suits my bathroom?

You'll find 1 tap hole basins designed for single-lever mixer taps and 2 tap hole variants that accept traditional separate hot and cold pillar taps, such as the Eastlake 560mm 2 tap hole pedestal. Choose a 1-hole if you prefer the ease of a mixer tap and modern convenience, or a 2-hole if you want an authentic traditional feel with separate taps.
