Glass Type and Thickness

The glass used must be toughened safety glass and manufactured to British Standard 6206 Class A with a CE stamp. It comes various thicknesses from 3mm to over 10mm and is designed to take a substantial impact for safety. If you want a clean walk‑in or wet‑room feel, go frameless with 8mm glass; for tight budgets or frequent door movement, a framed 6mm sliding door is sensible.

Which shower tray type should I choose for my floor, low profile, raised, or non‑slip options?

Use a low profile tray when you have space under the floor (such as timber floorboards) because it’s slim and works with under‑floor pipework; choose a raised tray when your bathroom is on a solid floor like concrete and you need room for pipework.
