Actual comparative tests under laboratory conditions confirm that Stuart Turner manufactures the quietest peripheral (regenerative) shower pump available.
EPDM/PTFE/Aluminium Oxide Seals
PTFE and Aluminium Oxide seal materials provide the most reliable sealing solution available, reducing risk of pump leakage and resulting water damage to the home while the use of PTFE (Teflon) also reduces the chances of the seal sticking when a pump is not used for periods of time.
Continuously Rated Motor
Continuously rated shower pumps effectively run until the user turns it off. This is particularly good in a family home where the shower needs to be used frequently throughout the morning or evening. A pump that isn’t continuously rated will turn itself off to allow the pump to cool, potentially causing issues with water pressure to the shower.
Twin pumps are designed using the highest standard of technology to boost your water pressure of both hot and cold water supply to a single shower, bath, shower mixer or mixer tap. Put a stop to low water pressure with this pump. It is perfect for transforming your unsatisfactory shower into a powerful and invigorating shower that you'll never want to leave.
Positive Head
A positive head shower pump is designed to be gravity fed, therefore it needs a 'head' of distance (at least a metre) between the pump and the bottom of the cold water cistern. The gravity feed 'kick-starts' the pump, pushing water straight through to your shower.
Dry Run Protection
Dry run protection is really important for the wellbeing of your shower pump. Bearings and other internal parts may get seriously damaged if there is a blockage or a drop in pressure causing the pump to run dry.
Flow Switch Sensitivity
An automatic flow switch is crucial to have the shower running when it needs to be. When flow exceeds 0.8 litres per minute the pump automatically starts, delivering that powerful flow that it’s there for.
Brass Construction
Built to perfection, this shower pump features durable and robust brass construction. This ensures that your shower pump is running as smoothly as possible, even after many years of use, making you a very happy customer indeed.
5-year guarantee
High-quality parts and precision engineering put these products together and we want you to be confident of that, so to put your mind at ease we cover you with a 5-year long guarantee.
WRAS Approved for quality
If you’re buying any sort of water fitting or product then it’s important that its WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) approved. It’s the best way to work out if that particular product or part complies with the UK requirements for installation within the UK.
Flexible hoses included
This shower pump comes complete with four flexible hoses, which are used to link your shower pump to both incoming and outgoing water pipes. These flexible hoses are anti-vibration which means the hoses are less prone to vibration from the pump, helping to reduce noise and prevent damage to the pump itself.

Each individual pump is fully tested before leaving the factory.
A Victorian house with a maze of gravity fed plumbing. 5 showers and low pressure kitchen tap. I was sceptical about taking out the two electric showers which worked well so we could have one pump that did all and I am delighted to say that it did not disappoint. Great pressure in all the showers, taps etc. The unit doesn't take up much space and sits on the floor of the airing cupboard. It makes some noise but it is not objectionable and switches off soon after the water stops running. My plumber recommended and installed this pump and I am glad he did! Plumbworld prices were better than the others I had sourced and delivery was the next day which is not something we often get when living in Northern Ireland. I can recommend this wholeheartedly. Important that you choose a good plumber who either has installed a pump before and has read in the instructions. Note: If it doesn't turn off when the water has stopped then check for a leak including toilets eg if a cistern is constantly filling the pump will keep running!

Moving into a new house, the hit water pressure was really poor. Raising the header tank would make little difference so I decided to install a shower pump. I was advised not to buy a " cheaper " brand / models, so decided on the Stuart Turner 3 bar pump . Installation was relatively simple and we were all ready in less than three hours. My god, what a result. Bags of power in three showers at the same time. We did suffer a small problem with the pump running on, but a call to Stuart Turner saw them sending me a new pump the next day. Great service from all concerned, and long may it last !!. A brilliant product backed up by great after sales service.

I’ve been running a Stuart Turner 3.0bar monsoon pump for over 15yrs great pump (green steel bodied) with only a pcb replacement in all that time, so a sound product. With a gland now leaking decided to make the only choice of another monsoon 3.0bar pump. Ordered, arrived and then you go to swap out. Pipes different lengths, width narrower and rubber feet replaced with plastic ones. Stuart Turner what were you thinking, whole heap of rework required just to replace like for like. Apart from that normal service has resumed, looking forward to another 15yrs or so of great service from a solid pump. Thanks Plumbworld, will definitely use you again.

My last pump was a Stuart Turner twin three bar, and I installed that in 2006. No problems from the previous one, we live in a soft water area (Ayrshire). New pump is quieter, but it has reduced-bore connectors to accommodate service valves that I'm not best pleasedabout. Plus the "staggered" heights on the input and output meant I had to fettle my setup to accommodate it.
Perhaps some "standard plate" interface could be used in future so that replacing a pump is easier,
plus whether service valves are included being made an option.
Overall, bloody good pump. Impressed. :-)

Bought this pump from Plumbworld to replace a Stuart Turner 1.5 pump.
Needed to replace my 20 year old Mira twin impeller 1.5 bar pump.
Began with a ST pump 1.5 bar from Plumbworld . This did not pass the wife test as shower (water) pressure was disappointing. Spoke again to Stuart Turner, they agreed to take it back and I bought this 3 bar pump from Plumbworld
Brilliant performance from the 3 bar pump and brilliant performance from Plumbworld. Downside, the delivery courier DHL let them and me down. Plumbworld to their credit sorted it out Emma and Laura. G

Bought to replace a previous Stuart Turner pump which ran without problem for 15 years until it seized. Never touched it or needed to look at it in all that time (may have lasted longer if I did but hey ho). Didnt think twice to getting another one - this is obviously a newer model, much quieter and very solid. Easy to fit works like a dream - hope to not touch it again for another 15 years.

An excellent purchase which provides constant pressure to both my fitted showers. It arrived within 72 hours (my plumber took longer!). It is not small to hide away but is stylish and quieter than my previous pump (not Stuart Turner!!). Highly recommended

This was a straight swap for my old Stuart Turner pump which had given up the ghost. Same power but much quieter and takes up less room in the airing cupboard. Best price with plumbworld. Not cheap but you have to pay more for quality
