How do I know whether to buy an electric, mixer, digital or power rain shower for my boiler and water system?

Use the product-type definitions: an electric shower needs cold water only and heats on demand, so it works independently of your boiler; mixer, digital and smart showers need hot and cold feeds from your boiler or cylinder; and power showers include an integrated pump to boost pressure for weak systems.
